STEM Accessories Marble Run and Water Track

It contains clear rigid and flexible plastic tubing, as well as a selection of mounting brackets (with screw connections), shut-off valves, bends (90 and 135 degrees), T-fittings, a tap, pouring cups, funnels, and 5 colorful balls. The 119-piece set includes a wider variety of parts and a few extra components for building more complex ball systems. Note: See the list of individual parts under each kit code. With the tubing kits, children can build cool water slides or ball runs and attach them to any STEM wall. They can design, plan, and build different tracks and then marvel as they test and adjust them to make water or balls flow downwards under the influence of gravity. It's great fun to see things flow through the crystal-clear tubing, passing through beds and T-fittings—real engineering in action. Valves allow you to open or stop the water flow, so you can see how water builds up. These sets offer children great opportunities to build, discuss, and modify their designs in small groups. Optional extra: A working water pump (ME13149), which can be purchased separately, is highly recommended to pump the water back to the start of the track.
